PIR Alumni Statistics

Political Science and International Relations department was firstly opened in 2008 and gave its first graduates in 2012. Until now, 80 % of its Bachelor graduates are either employed or continouing their graduate studies. 6 % of them work in public institutions and 27 % have found a job in private insitutions. While 18% of Bachelor graduates overall continue their master studies, 66% of them are having this experience abroad. Lastly, 12 % of PIR graduates have decided to pursue an academic career and they are currently working as teaching assistants at Epoka University. 

From the existing statistics obtained from Career Office of Epoka University, it is estimated that 73% of graduates from Master of Science in Political Science and International Relations study program are employed, 4% are unemployed and for 23% of the graduates no data is available or they continue their further studies.

Eight of the graduate students from the Political Science and International Relations Department won full scholarships in international universities where they are continuing their Master studies.

  7. Festina Kabashi-Umea University in Sweden;
  8. Rina Gurgule-Hochschule Furtwagen University in Germany;

The students of Political Science and International Relations department are encouraged in having traineeships or internships in different institutions in the country and abroad. Every year, Epoka also organized Career Fair that provides opportunities to students for orienting themselves for successful career.
